Boothfield House Caravan Park is situated in Poulton Le Fylde surrounded by the lush countryside of the Over Wyre area and is only a short distance from the seaside resort of Blackpool.

This well established park provides the perfect place to retreat to with gates leading directly on to miles of coastal footpaths with views over Morecambe Bay.

Boothfield House Caravan Park is a small family owned park, open for 10 months a year from 1st March to 5th January each season, with the option of extending your stay for a further 4 weeks.

Our Location

Boothfield House Caravan Park, is situated just 30 minutes drive off the M6, giving the park great access to Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang and Preston.

When travelling from either the North or South via the M6, leave at junction 33 towards the town of Garstang along the A6. After approximately 1.5 miles take a slight right off the A6 onto Cockerham Road following signs for Cockerham. Upon entering the small village of Cockerham turn left onto the A588 following signs for Knott End-on-Sea. Continue on this road for around 7 miles until you reach the junction with Lancaster Road/Sandy Lane (B5270). When arriving into Knott End-on-Sea take a right onto Pilling Lane and the second exit at the roundabout, Boothfield House Caravan Park will be your first left.

Out & About

The village of Knott end on Sea is within easy walking distance; there you will find a small shopping area, with local restaurants and bars.

You can also take the local ferry across the river Wyre to the fishing port of Fleetwood.

The famous seaside town of Blackpool is less than 20 minutes drive, and there you will find all the usual seaside attractions, a large shopping area.

For those wanting a more relaxed day out why not take a short drive to the villages of Poulton le Fylde or Garstang for local shops and country walks.

Visit Blackpool pleasure Beach with it's rides, hot ice shows and dining areas for a great day out.

Try your luck at the many amusement arcades set along the Golden Mile, or visit Blackpool zoo set just out side the town and see the vast aray of animals from the largest to the smallest.

In the evening stroll along the Golden Mile  and see the fantastic illuminations that light up the sea front and the famous Tower.

Glasson Dock

The village of Glasson has a small selection of shops and places to dine, there are excellent walks in the surrounding countryside and along the coast of Morecambe Bay.

Glasson has an attractive and interesting environment with walks right around the small harbor

In the village smokehouse you will find a large selection of smoked fish, cheees and meats.


Lancashire s newest city, has a fantastic range of shop, restaurant's and bars for both day and night life.

The museum of Lancashire has a constant change of displays through out the year.

There are many parks and gardens in the surrounding areas.


 The Victorian town of Fleetwood, in Wyre, is nestled at the meeting point of the majestic River Wyre and the Irish Sea and with its long stretch of sandy beach, it’s a popular seaside destination for families.

The Mount is a leafy, seven-acre park built on a large sand dune. For fantastic sea views stroll up to the stately Pavilion, built in 1902, at the summit.

Visit Freeport Shopping Outlet set on a tranquil marina with over 45 famous name stores, great value all year, your sure to come away with a bargain.

A daily ferry can be taken from near Boothfield Caravan Park direct to Fleetwood


Garstang is a small market village with a weekly street market held every Thursday, and a great Victorian Christmas market held on December evenings.

Have a meal at "Owd Nell's" restaurant set by the Lancaster canal, or call at Barton Grange garden center set on the main A6 between Preston and Garstang, as well as plants you will find the farm shop has it's own butchers counter, plus fresh seasonal produce, with a huge choice of cheeses and speciality foods.
