We offer the opportunity to own a holiday caravan set in some of Lancashire’s most beautiful country side and escape the hustle and bustle of busy urban life.

Slyne Caravan Park is a small family owned park, open for 10 and ½ months from 1st March to 15th January each season, with the option of extending your stay for a further 4 weeks.

Slyne Caravan Park, is situated just 2 miles off the M6, and has easy access to both The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
The most direct route from the South is to leave the M6 at 34 and head towards Lancaster city centre on the A683, following the signs for Carnforth you will leave Lancaster on the A6 heading North. 2.5 miles down the road take a right onto Bottomdale Road then your first right into the park.
From the North leave the motorway at junction 35 and head right onto the A601. At the end of the A601 take the first exit at the roadabout following signs for Carnforth. Heading through Carnforth and then Bolton-le-sands, baring left, continue on the A6 for approximately 1 mile before turning left onto Bottomdale Road and then the first right into the Park.
Out & About
The town of Morecambe is ideal for a sunny day out by the sea, with it’s arcades cafes and eateries over looking the sea to the south Lakes hills.
Morecambe has an excellent golf course and plenty of places for sea fishing if you wish. You can also take a boat rides along the beautiful Lancaster canal.
For retail therapy why not visit Lancaster again only a 5 minute drive and you are in the historic city of Lancaster with it’s many shops, bars and restaurants.
Lancaster is surrounded in history, with it’s many tales of old and the imposing Castle set on the hill side over looking the city.
The village of Heysham is with easy reach of the park, nestling on the shores of Morecambe bay, and from there you can get a ferry to the Isle of Man for a day trip or a longer stay.

Kirkby Lonsdale is a small market village with a weekly market held in the village square every Wednesday.
The village has many cafe's and restaurant's selling local produce.
Around the village there are many country walk's and picnic areas most set around the famous Devils Bride.

Heysham is the gateway to the Isle of Man, from here you can take a ferry over to the island taking approx 3.5 hrs to reach this beautiful island.
The Lake District has an abundance of historic homes and gardens, cultural attraction and family activities, you're spoilt for choice. With it's spectacular mountain scenery and vast lakes there is truly no were else in the country like the Lake District.
Lake cruises run daily on most of the larger Lakes, or try the Ullswater Steamer cruise.
For the more adventurous there are many hill walks, or even have a go at mountain climbing with many places having indoor climbing walls to give you the step up you need to start this great hobby.
Or just even relax and watch the world go by with a drink or snack at one of the many idyllic village set in this beautiful scenic area.

In the seaside town of Morecambe you can enjoy a coffee while admiring the view, on a clear day the view from the prom out over the bay to the Lakeland hills is magical.
You could combine shopping and sightseeing with a visit to The Festival Market, or take a leisurely stroll in Happy Mount Park, during the summer months the park is brought to life with brass band concerts by many of the area's fines musicians.
Sea fishing is enjoyed by many along the newly refurbished stone jetty.
Or for the more adventurous why not try the famous Morecambe Bay walk (only to be take on organised trips with a qualified guide due to the constant moving sands). This is an experience not to be take by the faint hearted.
