SLYNE CARAVAN PARK
The town of Morecambe is ideal for a sunny day out by the sea, with its arcades cafes and eateries overlooking the sea to the south Lakes hills.
Morecambe has an excellent golf course and plenty of places for sea fishing if you wish. You can also take boat rides along the beautiful Lancaster canal.
For retail therapy why not visit Lancaster again only a 5-minute drive and you are in the historic city of Lancaster with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
Lancaster is surrounded in history, with its many tales of old and the imposing Castle set on the hillside overlooking the city.
The village of Heysham is with easy reach of the park, nestling on the shores of Morecambe Bay, and from there you can get a ferry to the Isle of Man for a day trip or a longer stay.
HEYSHAM

LANCASTER

Kirkby Lonsdale is a small market village with a weekly market held in the village square every Wednesday.

Around the village, there are many country walks and picnic areas most set around the famous Devils Bride.
There is also plenty of countryside for you to enjoy and several local golf courses capable of testing any level of player.
LAKELAND
The Lake District has an abundance of historic homes and gardens, cultural attraction and family activities, you’re spoilt for choice. With it’s spectacular mountain scenery and vast lakes there is truly no were else in the country like the Lake District.
Lake cruises run daily on most of the larger Lakes, or try the Ullswater Steamer cruise.
For the more adventurous there are many hill walks, or even have a go at mountain climbing with many places having indoor climbing walls to give you the step up you need to start this great hobby.
